Compatibility of Curt C24VV TriFlex and Installation on 2014 Toyota Tundra
Question:
Looks like the Curt tri flex is an affordable and acceptable choice C24VV-C51362 - Do you agree? Does anyone know exactly where the tow plug is on my Tundra? Do you have to take the side foot panel off on the drivers side to get to it? When mounting the controller box, can I simply drill and screw into the plastic to the right and under the dash? thanks

The Curt # C24VV TriFlex brake controller would be a great choice for your 2014 Tundra. The TriFlex is a proportional controller that automatically levels, is compatible with both electric and electric over hydraulic trailer braking systems and can handle trailers with up to 4 braking axles.
The connector for the brake controller will be located to the left of the e-brake pedal up above the kick panel as shown in the linked video and the photo I provided. In rare occasions, it's located a little lower and the kick panel would need to be removed. The Curt # C51362 wiring harness would plug into the connector, the other end would plug into the brake controller.
The best place to install a traditional style brake controller is to the right of the steering column to the underside or the down slope of the dash within easy reach of the driver. We recommend this location so the driver's knee won't bash into the controller when entering or existing the vehicle. The controller includes the mounting bracket and hardware.
