Troubleshooting Turn Signals and Brake Lights Dimming When Headlights Turn on During Flat Towing

Question:

I have installed this wiring harness on my 2005 Jeep wrangler and spliced it into the Brake Buddy stealth all in one plug. The turn signals barely work with headlights on and the tail lights are not bright enough. Is this caused by not adding a relay? I have checked and cleaned all grounds several times.its a Jeep thing

The issues you're seeing won't be caused by not adding a relay to the wiring when you installed the # HM56202 and Brake Buddy Stealth # HM39530 and since you've already checked all of your ground wires I recommend moving on the the # HM56202 itself. If you can test the voltage going in to the converter box and coming out and see if that's where the power is being lost; this might indicate something amiss with the converter box.
