Compatibility of ST175/80-13 Wheel/Tire With 10 Inch Brake Drums
Question:
I notice that the more expensive wheel AM31985 same tire? was recommended to fit 10inch drums, is this wheel style AM31991 also capable of fitting your 10inch drums that themselves say 13inch wheels are ok? I know this is a tight clearance in general.

A 10 inch brake drum is compatible with 13, 14, 14-1/2 and 15 inch wheels. Both the # AM31991 and the
# AM31985 would work fine with a 10 inch brake drum. Both wheel/tire combos use the same Kenda Karrier ST175/80-13 tire, the only difference is the # AM31985 uses a spoke style wheel and the # AM31991 uses a mini-mod style wheel. Both wheels have the same capacity, the same 3.19 inch pilot diameter and the same 5 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern. Both measure 4-1/2 inches in width. The only difference between the two is visual, there is no functional difference.
