Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2018 Toyota Highlander To Carry 5 Bike Rack
Question:
I need a hitch for bike rack for my 2018 Highlander. I was going to get the The Curt Trailer Hitch # 13534, but your website noted that this hitch requires a stabilizer strap, and if you want to avoid this, get the Trailer Hitch # e98858. However, # e98858 doesnt appear to fit the 2018 Highlander. Can you please recommend the best hitch for me: one that will accommodate a bike rank, and also one that will easily fit on the Highlander 2018? Id rather not bother with stretching metal, etc. And while Im asking questions: whats your recommendation for a 5-bike rack to go with the hitch? Thanks!!! Best wishes,

I have a different option for you, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13534 is not confirmed to fit your 2018 Toyota Highlander so you will need to go with a different hitch.
I recommend the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13394 as it is made right here in the USA so you know you are getting a quality hitch for your vehicle, and it will easily allow you to carry a bike rack. I like this hitch because it has a hidden crosstube so that once the trailer hitch is installed on the receiver it self is visible as you can see in the included picture.
If you have not already decided on a bike rack I recommend taking a look at the Thule Apex XT 5 Bike Rack # TH9026XT which will accommodate your 5 bikes as long as they are not more than 37.5lbs each, and the total weight for all 5 is 150lbs or less.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
