Dexter Axle Leaf Spring and Hub Replace 8-201
Question:
I have a used trailer, a 1992 Cronkhite. Gross weight says 12,300 . I think the axles are 6000k rated. The axle shaft is 3inch and are down type. 6 lugs, says dexter 8-201 on drum, brake shoes are 2inch wide. Double axles has slip springs, 4 leaf from 1/2inch bolt to end of spring curve is 27.. From 1/2inch bolt to 5/16inch bolt that holds up the spring is 23 3/4inch center to center.. The measurement from backside of hub plate is 79 To other side.. I need enough info to get new springs,blts, and u bolts to replace old parts.. And brakes rebuild kit for hydralic drum brakes..

The 8-201 trailer hub replacement is the part # 8-201-51UC3. This for a 6,000 lb axle so for leaf springs you'd want the # e94SR which is 26 inches long. For a U-bolt kit you'd want the part # APUBR-8 and then for replacement shackle bolts part # 166081.
