Hello, Looking to convert from the factory hydraulic, disk brakes to electric on my 1977 Airstream Sovereign 31. I believe these are the parts I am need of? https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Brakes/etrailer/AKEBRK-7-SA.html https://www.etrailer.com/Trailer-Hubs-and-Drums/Dexter-Axle/8-201-5.html Thank you, Greg

In order to verify if this is the correct hub and drum assembly you will need to check the bearing numbers. If the numbers are too worn, you will need to measure using a digital caliper like the # PTW80157. I have attached a photo of where you need to measure on your spindle.

We will assume you have this information since you already removed your hub and drum. The Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # 8-201-5 is for 5,200 lbs axles and has a 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern. This uses a # 25580 inner bearing with a 1-3/4" inner diameter and # LM67048 outer bearing with a 1-1/4" inner diameter. If this matches what you have then this is the correct hub and drum assembly.

If the information for the hub and drum is correct then the Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-7-SA will also work. These fit 5,200 lbs axles and have a 5 bolt mounting flange bolt pattern, which it looks like you have in the picture. If you need mounting bolts and hardware I recommend the # BRKH12.
