The Curt # C16541 A20 sliding 5th wheel hitch isn't a vehicle specific item. If your truck isn't equipped with the factory 5th wheel tow prep package that provides the mounting pucks sunk into the truck bed, you'll need the
Curt # C16427-204 bracket/rail kit. Once installed, the kit will provide industry standard bed rails that will accept the # C16541 Curt A20 sliding 5th wheel hitch.
If your truck has the factory tow/prep package with the pucks, the # C16022 adapter rails will install into the pucks, and you'd attach the # C16541 hitch to the adapter.
If you'd like to install a 7-way trailer connector in the truck bed so you don't have to run the trailer connector cable up over the tailgate, you can install one using part # C56000.
