Parts Needed To Install A 7-Way Blade Trailer Connector On a 2017 BMW X3

I already have a hitch installed....I just need wiring to hook up a bike rack that needs a 7 blade connector

To install a 7-Way trailer connector on your 2017 BMW X3 you will need the Tekonsha ZCI Circuit Protected Vehicle Wiring Harness # 119250KIT and the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit # ETBC7L to connect to your factory wiring.

The Tekonsha Harness # 119250KIT uses sensors to detect when power is traveling through the wiring to the tail lights so that you do not have to splice the wiring on your X3. This will give you a 4-way flat connector.

The 4-way flat connector will plug into the 7-way on the Upgrade Kit # ETBC7L. If you are only needing the running, brake and turn signal lights you will not have to run any additional wiring. If you will need the charge line, reverse lights or brake circuit for use those will need to be hard wired in.
