Is 2200lbs The Capacity For One Or Both Of The Timbren Axle-Less Suspension ASR1THDS01?

Question:

So, the total weight of loaded trailer should not exceed 1 ton or two? 2200 lbs or 4400 lbs? My horse-trailer weighs about 300 lbs. The whole system should be able to carry 3000 - 3300 pounds including the trailer itself. If this particular suspension is not able to do so, which one you can recommend for this purpose? I would prefer to find the 4inch drop suspension, having as much deflection as possible for smooth non-disturbing long distance ride for old sick animal inside the trailer. Thank you

The Timbren Axle-Less Suspension # ASR1THDS01 you were looking at is rated for 2200lbs total, or 1100lbs per side.

Since you are expecting your horse trailer to have a total weight of 3000-3300lbs I recommend the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System - 4" Drop Spindle Only - 3,500 lbs # ASR3500S04 as it has a 3500lb rating which will be perfect for the weight you are planning on, and the 4" drop spindle you are wanting.

For this option you will need to use either idler hub # 84545UC1-EZ, or if you are wanting electric brakes you will need electric trailer brake assemblies # AKEBRK-35 along with hub and drum assembly # AKHD-655-35-EZ-K that has the common 5 on 4-1/2" bolt pattern.

I included videos for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
