Roof Rack Recommendation For A 2015 BMW X5 35d

Question:

Which roof rack system do you recommend to maximize cargo capacity, is aerodynamic and high quality. Further, I want to be sure the rear cargo door can fully open and ideally the sun roof to be able to open without causing damage. We have factory flush rails.

I will start my answering your questions about the operation of the roof rack after installation. All roof rack manufacturers say that your sunroof may not work due to roof rack interference. Unfortunately, that is something you will have to discover after installing your roof rack. Your ability to use the hatch when you are carrying cargo on your roof is based upon the distance between your front crossbar and the rear hatch when it is open. The nice thing about this roof rack is that you have a lot of flexibility with regard to where you can position your front crossbar. The further forward you can place your front crossbar the longer rooftop box you can put on the roof of your vehicle.

My rack recommendation is by Thule. It will consist of the following;
