To determine the correct weight distribution hitch for your 2007 GMC Yukon Xl and 2004 Haulmark trailer you will need to find the tongue weight of the trailer when loaded as you intend to haul it. It is a good idea to determine what the maximum tongue weight might be as well so you do not exceed the hitch rating.

Since we no longer carry the Husky hitches you inquired about I am going to compare 2 similar weight distribution hitches.

First the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0800 is similar to the Husky 32217. The Fastway hitch is rated for tongue weights of 400-800lbs with a maximum trailer weight of 8,000lbs.

The Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-1200 is similar to the Husky 32218. This Fastway hitch is rated for 800-1,200lbs of tongue weight with a maximum trailer weight of 12,000lbs.

Both these hitches use the same trunnion style bars that sit on trailer mounted L-brackets. You want to use the weight distribution system that best reflects the amount of tongue weight that you will be using. If you choose a system that has too low of a rating your vehicle will sag and you may bend the bars. To high of a rating and you risk not having enough weight on the bars to reduce sway.
