Should B*W Heavy Duty Trailer Hitch BWHDRH25230 Use Included Hardware Or Factory Hardware?

The bolts that came with his hitch are much smaller diameter than factory. Do I use the supplied bolts or enlarge the holes on the brackets and re use the factory bolts?

The B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver # BWHDRH25230 you purchased for your 2005 Ford F-250/350 was designed and tested with the included 1/2" grade 8 bolts so that is what you will need to use.

Enlarging the holes in your hitch can cause structural issues and would void the warranty of the hitch.
