Can I Use a Roof Top Tent on a 2020 Porsche Cayenne with Factory Thule Crossbars
Question:
I have a 2020 Cayenne Turbo with the factory mounted rails. I have also purchased the factory cross bars I believe they’re made by Thule. Is there a small roof top tent that will fit either the factory cross bars or these larger Thule ones?

It does look like the Porsche Cayenne Turbo's factory crossbars are a Thule Aeroblade style setup with a maximum capacity of 220-lbs (dynamic capacity), so you can use a rooftop tent like the Thule Tepui Low-Pro 2 Rooftop Tent # TH8001LP204 without any issues since they're designed to fit on the aero style bars.
You will want to confirm the static load capacity of your roof in your Porsche's owner's manual, but these tents with ladders do a great job of dispersing the weight in the tent across the bars and the ground so you can likely go up to a 3-man tent like the Yakima SkyRise HD Tent for Roof Rack Crossbars - 3 Person - 600 lbs - Tan and Red
Item # Y07437.
I've linked our entire selection of roof top tents for you to check out, as well, but I don't see any reason that you'd need to upgrade to an aftermarket bar and your Porsche bars are a great solution.
