Will the Rhino-Rack J-Style Kayak Carrier Fit with a Cargo Box on My 2015 GMC Yukon XL?

Hi, we have a 2015 GMC Yukon XL with factory crossbars. We are looking for a kayak rack that will hold our Vibe Yellowfin 130T 13foot long, 35inch wide, 77+ lbs and our Thule cargo carrier 2007 model, roughly 3x6foot but I cant find the model number. Would this carrier work? Are there other crossbars that we could purchase to be able to fit both? Or other roof-top solutions?

The Rhino-Rack J-Style Carrier # S512 is a great option for your 2015 GMC Yukon XL as long as your factory crossbars measure no more than 3-1/8 inches wide x 1-1/4 inches tall. The fact that the Rhino-Rack J-Style Carrier will allow you to mount your Vibe Yellowfin 130T on its side will give you a lot of space to mount your Thule cargo carrier. I confirmed with Rhino-Rack that the J-Style carrier only takes up 14 inches of crossbar space with a kayak mounted. As long as your crossbars are long enough to accommodate your older Thule cargo box model, both accessories will fit your 2015 GMC Yukon XL. In order to know for sure, I recommend mounting your cargo box at the furthest part (left or right) on your crossbars and then measure to make sure there is 14 inches of crossbar space available for the kayak carrier.
