Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers # RM-2450 Fit With Underslung and Overslung Axles
Question:
I would like to have my dealer install the 2450 shock kit on my KZ Spree Connect C241RKS. The axles are above the leaf springs on my unit. The Roadmaster installation instructions item 4 and figure 4B states what to do for installation with axles on top of the leaf spring.

The Roadmaster Comfort Ride Shock Absorbers for Tandem Axle Trailers # RM-2450 can be used with both underslung and overslung axles. As per the instructions you will need to bolt up the extension plates in the correct orientation for your axle(See Image below).
*Make sure the extension plate doesn’t extend below the level of the wheel rim. If it does, the plate or the shock could be damaged in the event of a flat tire. Other consequential, non-warranty damage may also occur.*
If your current wheels are not tall enough for the extension plate and you determine that larger wheels and tires will not fit with the current axle positioning the Dexter Trailer Springs Over-Under Conversion Kit # K71-384-00 will allow you to flip your axle below your leaf springs so that you will have enough clearance for the suspension and extension plates. You will need 2 kits to flip both axles.
