I have another option for you, but there is not a trailer hitch receiver available for your 2010 Honda Accord that can carry a 500lb medical scooter on a hitch mounted carrier.
Instead I recommend going with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11496 you were looking at and getting a small trailer similar to the Detail K2 Mighty Multi Utility Trailer - 6' Long - 1,295 lbs # K2MMT4X6.
Since this hitch has a 2000lb trailer weight rating it will be fine for towing a small trailer and your 500lb medical scooter.
In addition to the hitch you will also need a vehicle wiring harness # 118420, a drawbar # C45025, hitch ball # C40001, and hitch pin and clip # F-4.
I included videos of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
