How High Will CE Smith 13 Inch Bolster Bracket Sit Above 3 Inch Crossmember

Question:

I am going to be replacing rollers with bunks on my ez loader trailer. The boat will need to sit rather high due to the width as the boat will need to be above the wheel fenders. For the two inside bunks, the boat will need to be at least 10inch above the trailer crossbar and 11inch on the outside. I am going to be using 2x6 bunks so I am curious if these 13inch brackets will work as that would mean the brackets need to extend 8inch and 9inch respectively above the crossbar. Also noting the crossbars are 3inch wide by 2inch tall. Thank you!

The # CE10002G-4 CE Smith Bolster and Swivel is 13" tall. Assuming you mount it at the position to gain the most height, you should have 9" remaining. Losing the height from attaching to the 3" crossmember leaves you with 10" remaining. You will lose 1" at the bottom with the 1/2" below the lower mounting hole and 1/2" diameter U-bolt.

Accounting for the added height of the bunks, you should be sitting over 11" once installed.

I have attached a video review of the bracket for your reference.
