Yes, the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Class III Trailer Hitch, # 75132, that you referenced is designed to fit your 2002 Ford Explorer XLT, even if you have an OEM hitch. If you have an OEM hitch, this hitch will simply install beneath the OEM hitch.

If you plan on doing any towing with this hitch, you will want a few additional items to complete your towing setup. First, you will need a trailer wiring harness. For this, I recommend the Tow Ready T-One Wiring Harness, # 118344. This is a simple, plug-in wiring harness that does not require any cutting or splicing into your vehicle wiring.
The final items that you will need are a ball mount, hitch ball and pin and clip. For this I recommend our Ball Mount Kit, # 989900.
