Recommended Hitch for 2001 Nissan Frontier King Cab

Question:

Can you recommend a hitch to fit my truck? It is a 2001 Nissan Frontier king cab 4x4. It is a two door with the 74.6 inch bed. I had ordered a Like Newinch Curt 13841 from Amazon. The first side bolted right up, but the passenger side was not even close. It was off by about 20 degrees. I do not know if it was labeled wrong, or I had bad information. I thought it would be smarter to just let you recommend the correct one. Thank you. Randy

For your 2001 Nissan Frontier King Cab I recommend the # 13831 Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver. This is a confirmed fit for your vehicle. It has a maximum gross trailer weight of 5,000 lbs and tongue weight of 500 lbs.

The Curt hitch you mentioned was for a Nissan Frontier but designed for models with a crew cab.

If you plan on doing some towing, I recommend the # 118362 Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for your wiring needs. This is a custom fit part and plugs into existing wiring.
