How Many Stabilizing Straps Are Needed For Curt Hitch 13073 For Attaching Rack
Question:
Stabiling strap for the C13073. I am using this to attach a rack to carry a wheel chair. How many straps are required?

Expert Reply:
When using the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13073, normally just one strap is needed for something like a bike rack, but since you are using this for a heavier carrier for a wheelchair, I recommend using two of the following Curt stabilizing straps:
- Curt Cam Buckle Stabilizing Strap for Hitch-Mounted Accessories # 18050
Two of these straps is going to help ensure you have the most possible stability when transporting the carrier.
