I have a great solution for you. I went ahead and called my contact at Thule, and he confirmed that the Thule Gateway Pro 2 does not have a FitDial setting for your 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC300 because the rack will not fit your vehicle. They confirmed that the Gateway Pro 2 does not have a safe configuration on the vehicle.

With that being said, if you are looking for a trunk-mounted rack that is compatible with your 2020 Mercedes-Benz GLC300 (coupe or SUV), I recommend the Saris Bones 3 # SA803. The Bones 3 comes with a 35-pound weight capacity and includes 6 adjustable nylon straps with spring-loaded ratchet straps that secure the rack to your trunk. The hooks on the end of the straps that attach to your vehicle are nylon-coated in order to prevent any scratching or damage at the attachment point.
