Yes, the SeaSucker Ski and Snowboard Carrier # 298-SK2420 is safe to use on glass on your 2016 Nissan Maxima's panoramic roof. You will not have a problem with cold or heat as long as the rubber sections of the cups are at room temperature when you attach them. However, the cups should not be used at or below freezing temperatures because the cups will freeze to the surface of your vehicle which leads to pump malfunctions. As far as extreme heat, there is no maximum temperature tested on the vacuum cups.
