No Light On Curt Echo When Plugged In
Question:
I have a 2008 grand cherokee with factory tow package.When I plug in the controller there is no light .Does the trailer need to be plugged in also for it to pair with the phone? The four pin works fine I just used it a few days ago

If there is no light on the unit when the Curt Echo Wireless Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180 is plugged in that means you don't have power on the battery charge line circuit. This could be caused by a short or blown fuse so you will want to check those things but it could also not be hooked up. In which case or if you could not find any shorts or fuses blown then you could just run a new power wire using part # DW02508-1 and then add a circuit breaker part # PK54540.
