Can a Surge Brake Actuator be Installed on a Swing Away Trailer Tongue?
Question:
We ordered the T4747220 to replace the LP8000 actuator on a Nitro boat trailer we are working on but it wont work on this trailer. The trailer has a swingaway tongue. Does that make a difference for what actuator is needed?

As long as a flexible line is used from the back of the actuator to the point where a T fitting will split the lines to the brakes, there will be no issue using the Titan Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator w/ Electric Lockout - Disc # T4747220 with a swing away tongue.
