B and W Companion Hitch that Fits 2017 Ford F-350 OEM Rail Kit

Question:

I currently have a BandW RVB3200 hitch. I now have a truck with a ford factory style puck system and looking for bases. Can you recommend a non sliding base and a sliding base? My camper is a 2000 Heartland Fuel 362 using a 2017 Ford F250 6.7L, is there a reason to even consider a slider? Also can you adjust how far the slider is allowed to go back or is it all the way forward or all the way back? Thanks so much, my camper cant move until I order one so I am looking to purchase this week.

The Companion and Patriot hitch heads are slightly different so you wouldn't be able to swap the base to use your current hitch head. You'd have to go with a new hitch altogether like the slider Companion for Ford rail kits part # BWRVK3370 or the fixed version # BWRVK3305.

If the nose of your trailer is tapered then you could get away with a fixed hitch but if the nose is wider and square you'd need the slider hitch for turning clearance.
