Compatibility of Americana AM20122 12 x 4 Trailer Wheel with 145/R12 Tires

Question:

Im considering buying a Dexstar Steel Spoke Trailer Wheel - 12inch x 4inch Rim - 4 on 4 - White Powder Coat - AM20122 from you. This would replace a damaged wheel for my 2016 Jayco Jay Series Sport Model 8 SD popup camper and matches that wheel type. The tire from that wheel is still in good condition and holding pressure. Its a Trailer King DS618 radial tubeless tire, type ST145 R12 E95L, with recommended inflation pressure 80 psi. Is there any reason I should not use that wheel and tire together? Both of their load ratings are suitable for use with my camper. Thank you.

Your 145/R12 Load Range E (actually a 145/80-12) tire is meant to be mounted on a 12 x 4 inch rim. The Americana # AM20122 wheel you spoke of would work perfectly with that tire size, as long as the weight of the trailer doesn't exceed the 1250 lb capacity of the wheel.

The valve stem isn't included, I'd recommend part # AM20904 which is good up to 80 psi and is compatible with the .453 inch diameter valve stem hole in the wheel.

I've linked to product videos for the wheel and the valve stem mentioned above.
