Running Lights Not Working and No Power to the Running Light Pin in the Trailer Connector

runnig lites work last yr.boat trailer-have both turn lites-but no power to #6 pole at 11oclok on the pug? and I can not remove relay to check them outand /orreplace! help!

There are a few things that you can check to see why you do not have power for your running lights at your trailer connector. The first thing to check would be the pin in the connector for any corrosion or dirt buildup.

If the pin looks clean and your vehicle has a factory tow package, then the issue may very likely be a blown fuse or faulty relay since the running lights worked last year.

If you are using an aftermarket wiring harness, make sure it is grounded properly. A poor ground connection could prevent certain light functions from working properly.
