Will Curt Trailer Hitch 13138 Fit a 1999 Ford Ranger With Dual Exhaust
Question:
I have a 9@ ford ranger with straight out pipes will this hitch still work?

Expert Reply:
The Curt trailer hitch # 13138 bolts to the bottom of the frame rails so provided no part of the exhaust is in between the frame rails where the hitch will be present (see instructions and video I have linked for you) having dual exhaust that exits straight from the back of the truck should not be an issue.
If you plan on doing some towing I recommend the etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It comes with 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. For wiring use # 118325 if your Ranger does not already have a trailer connector.
