Can You Use a Hitch Extender on the Swagman E-Spec # S94FR?
Question:
Can you use a hitch extension with the Swagman E-Spec bike rack? I have two 45lb ebikes and the inside bike rubs against the RV. A few inches would mean all the difference. Thanks

Yes, you can use a 2-inch hitch extender when using the Swagman E-Spec # S94FR. The shortest 2-inch extender we carry is the Hitch Extender For 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver 7" # HE06. Added with the shank length of the E-Spec, it will give you a total length of 17-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pinhole to the closest part of the rack (when folded up).
It is important to note that using a hitch extender will reduce the maximum weight capacity of your trailer hitch by 50%.
