For your 2013 Dodge Journey I recommend using the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76225. This class III receiver uses a concealed cross tube for a clean appearance. As this is a custom fit hitch you will not have to drill any holes to mount the receiver. The rear bumper fascia will require some trimming to fit properly. It is rated for 525lbs of tongue weight and 3,500lbs towing.

If you will need to tow a large trailer with a weight distribution hitch, you will need to use the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75648 as it is rated for use with weight distribution. It is rated for 400lbs of tongue weight and 4,000lbs towing with or without the weight distribution hitch.

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13900 is not on the list of vehicles that it will fit in the installation instructions. I have linked these below if you wish to see. While the receiver may be able to fit the frame from the looks it would require at least exhaust modification and possibly the removal of the spare tire.
