Picking Out Blue Ox Weight Distribution for Keystone Cougar 29RLKWE
Question:
I carefully checked the specs on my truck against the specs for the various Blue Ox Sway Pro WDH systems. Per Keystone, the hitch weight for my rig is about 800 lbs. Does that mean Im good with a WDH system rated to 1000 lbs? Or is it advisable to go up to the next level just in case? Which offers better sway control? The Track Pro with bars only? Or the Sway Pro with bars and chains? Minimizing sway is my primary concern.

When picking out a weight distribution system you want your loaded tongue weight to fall right into the middle of the tongue weight range of the system you use. You wouldn't want to go with a system that has a max rating of your tongue weight as it would mostly be ineffective.
The Blue Ox part # BXW1000 for Sway Pro would be a great option as it has a tongue weight range of 750 to 1,000 lbs. For TrackPro you'd then want the part # BLU87FR.
Keep in mind that you need to go with the loaded tongue weight figure which includes any weight behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle as additional tongue weigh.
The SwayPro has a more proactive sway control than the TrackPro so if you wanted the better sway control that's what I would recommend.
