Will the Thule T2 Pro XTR 2 1-1/4 Inch Fit the Curt Hitch # C11222 on a 2015 Chevy Camaro?

I have a great alternative for you. Unfortunately, since the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4" # C11222 installs so that the hitch opening recedes away from the bumper, you will need to have a bike rack with a shank length of at least 8-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pinhole to the closest part of the rack in order to clear the bumper. The Thule T2 PRO XTR # TH23JV measures only 5 inches to the closest part of the rack when folded. With that being said, you could buy a hitch extender like the CR Brophy Hitch Extender for 1-1/4" Hitch Receivers - 5-3/4" Long # HES6. However, if you go this route, you will cut the weight capacity of your hitch by 50%.

If you want a bike rack you can use without the Brophy Hitch Extender, I recommend the Swagman XC2 Bike Rack for 2 bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # S64650. The XC2 has a measurement of 10 inches from the center pinhole of the rack to the closest part of the rack. In addition, the XC2 is much lighter than the Thule T2 PRO XTR (25 pounds compared to 51 pounds) which makes for an easier installation on the hitch.

Note: The Curt # C11222 is only a fit for the Camaro Convertible without ground effects.
