What Bike Rack Will Work with My 75-Pound E-Bike on a 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser with a Spare Tire?
Question:
Hi, I have a 2012 FJ cruiser with the spare tire mounted on the back. I have a radpower radrunner plus 2020. What bike rack would accommodate both the back mounted spare and the 75 lb ebike?

For a bike with that weighs 75 pounds, the only hitch-mounted bike rack that can hold that weight is the Hollywood Racks Sport Rider SE Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # HLY84FR. If you have a compatible hitch attached to your 2012 Toyota FJ Cruiser like the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75461 or the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13367, the measurement from the pinhole of your hitch receiver to the end of your spare tire is 6 inches - 8-1/2 inches.
Since the closest part of the Sport Rider SE from the hitch pinhole is only 5 inches, you will need a hitch extender. I recommend the Curt Hitch Extender for 2" Hitch Receivers - 8" Long # C45791. The Curt extender will add an additional 8 inches to your trailer hitch to clear your spare tire. It must be noted that any time you use any sort of hitch adapter, it decreases your hitch's weight capacity by 50%.
I did some research on your RadPower RadRunner Plus, and it looks like it has a step-through frame. If your model has a step-through frame, you will need the Swagman Bike Frame Adapter Bar for Electric, Step Through, and Cruiser Bikes # S57FR. The Swagman frame adapter bar will give you bike a straight, horizontal plane that is required to attach to the ratcheting hooks of the Sport Rider SE.
