Road Armor Versus Dexter Fitment For a 2020 Jayco Jay Flight SLX 244BHSW

Question:

hey guys I have a 2020 Jayco Jay Flight SLX 244BHSW its also the Baja / Rocky Mountain Edition so the springs are different than just the SLX. I never camp at camp ground but in the back country of Montana . So where I go theres a lot of side to side tilting and front and back movement . I do worry about just beating up the trailer with all the backroads . Is this product what Im looking for ? I worry about the cast equalizer possible breaking . Are there different sizes of this part because Im not sure that it will work.

The Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer # LC696740 are going to be taller than your current equalizers by about 1-1/2". This can be corrected slightly by using longer shackles. The Lippert Tandem Axle Equa-Flex AP Kit # LC64FR has 3-1/8" shackles that will reduce the difference to roughly 5/8". You will also need Bronze Bushings # K71-291-00 to replace any plastic or damaged bushings you may have.

If the difference concerns you the Dexter E-Z Flex Suspension Kit # K71-652-00 will match what you current measurements and it includes all new wet bolts and shackles in the kit.

I recommend using LubriMatic LMX Industrial Strength Grease # L11390 on all the greaseable areas. It is highly water insoluble to not break down when driving in the rain and will fuse to the parts even under extreme temperatures and pressures.
