Do Firestone Ride-Rite Rear Air Springs, Part # F2355, Fit 2010 Nissan Titan with a 5th Wheel Hitch
Question:
Will the Air bags fit a 2010 Nissan Titan crew cab with the 5.5 box. I have a pro series 15k 5th wheel.

My contact at Firestone does not have a confirmed fit for this air spring kit, part # F2355, on the 2010 Nissan Titan when it is equipped with the mounting hardware for a 5th wheel. This does not necessarily mean there will be a fit issue, only that the combination is untested.
The compatibility of this air spring kit with your 5th-wheel-equipped Titan will be a function of the type of base rail installation kit you have and where on the vehicle frame that hardware is mounted. If it mounts to a different location on the frame rails than the suspension kit does, then you should not have any issue using this air bag kit on your Titan.
As an example, Reese Semi-Custom 5th Wheel Base Rail kit, part # RP30035-405, is a correct fit for your Titan. If you happen to use this base rail kit you can compare the diagrams in the instructions for both products to determine if they need to occupy the same position on the frame. (I have included an image that shows both diagrams side by side.) In this particular case, the hardware for the base rails appears to be located on either side of where the air spring kit mounts. If you refer to the photo and take note of the location of the axle center line, it looks like there would not be a conflict with mounting this RideRite kit with this particular base rail kit.
Your best bet is to compare these images to what you see under your truck bed to determine if your 5th wheel mounting hardware will conflict with the Firestone suspension hardware.
An alternative is a rubber spring type rear suspension kit, such as the Timbren kit # TTORTUN4 for 2-wheel-drive Titans (or part # TNRTTN for 4-wheel drive models). Since these springs install in place of the OEM axle bump stops there is no conflict with 5th wheel mounting hardware. Also, since these springs do not require inflation their use will be essentially maintenance-free. Installation instructions for this and the other referenced products are included.
