Does Furrion Vision S Require Fuse to Wire to Battery
Question:
Hi I am a rookie electrician looking to wire my 4.3 monitor directly to the battery terminal D+ — when the engine is running I read elsewhere that I could cut the included furrion 12v outlet wire and extend that with 16g wires Do I need to include an in-line fuse and if so— what size? This D+ battery terminal has max 10A current draw Or do I need to calculate with wire gauge+ length? It’ll be close to 10’ Thanks

When wiring up the camera of the Furrion Vision S System part # FOS43TASF you do not need to have to have a fuse installed and 16 gauge wire at your length would be totally fine. A 10 amp circuit would easily power this with power to spare.
