Recommended Trailer Hitch for a Forest River Cherokee 284DBH

Hi there! We just purchased a golf cart, and we are wanting to pull it on our small trailer using our Cherokee 284DBH travel trailer. Can I use the E-100 bumper mount on that rear bumper? I cant seem to find any solid information on whether or not that bumper can be used to tow a small trailer or not. Would like to go with the E-100 if possible due to ease of installation. However, if I cannot use it, will the Curt 13701 frame mount work for this? Thanks in advance!

The Curt RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver, # E-100 is designed to fit standard 4" x 4" rear bumpers providing ability to tow a trailer up to 3,500 lbs. However, just because this component is rated for that does not mean the bumper on your RV is; you will need to confirm with manufacturer for spec on your Forest River Cherokee 284DBH. In addition, you will need to check legality of towing a bumper pull trailer behind a bumper pull trailer. Pulling a trailer behind a 5th wheel is frequently allowed by law but two bumper pull trailers in tandem you may discover is not legal in your area or if legal may have specific requirements to do so.
