Best Roof Rack For My 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon

Question:

Yakima or Thule? Im debating between the 2. Yakima carries a bigger load with wider bars. Thule seems lower profile from pictures. Whats the consensus and how much higher if at all is the Yakima system vs. the Thule? Thanks

If it were me, I would 100% go with Yakima. Both Thule and Yakima will be just as low profile as the other. I would get the Yakima Jetstream crossbars # Y00425. These are 50 inch crossbars in black but you can get longer bars in silver if you want. You'll then need the Skyline Towers # Y53TR and this landing pad set # Y00241. These will mount in your fixed mounting points on your 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon.

I really like this system because it is SO simple to remove the crossbars and install them once the landing pads are in place. It's a clean system that looks good and allows for wrap around accessories and also t-track accessories.
