Can I Use the American Metal Bolt In Valve Stems on a 2017 Ram 3500 Dually

Question:

It says clearly in your description that these are for trailer wheels. Do you think it would be ok to use them on my towing truck wheels? Im planning to use braided tire valve extension with these valve stems. I have 2017 DodgeRam 3500 dually mega cab pick-up.

I spoke to Americana, the manufacturer of the Metal, Bolt-In Valve Stem # AM20906, and they can be used on your 2017 Ram 3500 Dually. However, newer vehicles may have tire pressure sensors in the wheels and if they are removed, they can throw a code and low tire light will show on the instrument panel. Your best bet will be to check with a Ram dealer first. The # AM20906 valve stems are rated for up to 200 psi, so as long as your tire doesn’t exceed that limitation it will be fine.
