Will Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver C57HR Work With Hands Free Liftgate Sensor On 2021 Nissan Rogue?
Question:
will I still be able to use the foot sensor to open the back door after the hitch installation?

You will still be able to use the hands free lift gate sensor on your 2021 Nissan Rogue once the Curt Class II Trailer Hitch Receiver # C57HR is installed, but you will need to place your foot on either side of the receiver for the sensor to detect your foot. Move your foot in and out until you find the location the sensor best detects your foot. After a while this will become second nature.
Now unless you already have a bike rack or other accessories designed for a 1-1/4" trailer hitch receiver I recommend going with the Curt Class III # C24HR instead as it has a 2" trailer hitch receiver while will give you a much wider variety of accessories, and will still work with your hands free lift gate sensor.
If you are planning on using bike rack you would be able to use the Thule Hitching Post Pro # TH934XTR which is a fantastic bike rack for the price, or if you are planning on carrying a cargo carrier the 60x22 etrailer Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches - Aluminum - 500 lbs # e98874.
I included links to the written instructions for both of the hitches mentioned, and video reviews of the other products mentioned for you to take a look at.
