I would start with comparing the spring arm of your Fastway e2 Weight Distribution w/ 2-Point Sway Control - Round - 8,000 lbs GTW, 800 lbs TW # FA94-00-0800 that is giving you trouble to the other spring arm to see if there are any defects or damage causing the fitment issue.
If there is not then I would grab a rag and clean the spring bar where it gets installed in the hitch head, and clean inside the hitch head. Dirt and other debris can work their way in there and cause all sorts of issues.
It is also recommended to frequently grease this part of the spring bar and inside of the hitch head using bearing grease like # L11380 to prevent the spring bar from seizing inside of the hitch head.
I included a link to the instruction manual of the # FA94-00-0800 for you to take a look at.
