How to Determine Left & Right Electric Trailer Brakes AKEBRK-35 Without Removing Hub
Question:
How is the outside of pre-assembled marked for left and right. I think the dealership may have out them on the wrong side. Dont want to pull brake drum unless I have to.

There is a way to determine the left from the right without taking off your hub for the Electric Trailer Brake Kit # AKEBRK-35-SA.
Take a look at the back of the assembly, and you should see where the wires are sticking out and they are attached with a little clip; I have added a photo of the back of the # AKEBRK-35-SA for reference. The left (driver's side) will have the clip facing to the left hand side and the wires coming down out of it when oriented correctly.
