Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness for 2014 Kia Sorento LX V6
Question:
I have a 2014 Kia Sorento LX V6 AWD, I believe without the towing package and I am looking for the correct Wiring Harness to go with the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2inch - C13152. I watched a few of your videos and you all recommended the Tekonsha Wiring harnessinch over the Curt Options, but I cannot seem to find the one that will work with my vehicle? Any Help would be Greatly Appreciated.

When Tekonsha wiring harnesses are available in many cases they're a great choice because of the reliability of their converter boxes and the availability of plug and play harnesses; however Curt wiring harnesses are also high quality and reliable. As you've noticed there is not a Tekonsha harness for your 2014 Kia Sorento LX with a V6 so I recommend using the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56256, which has a plug and play installation. This is a reliable harness that will provide you with the wiring you need for towing with your Curt # C13152 hitch.
You may also need a ball mount, hitch ball, hitch pin and clip to complete your towing setup and you can get that all in one package with the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # EBMK4, which comes with 2" and 2-5/16" hitch balls, a ball mount that can be used in a 4" drop or 2-3/4" rise, hitch pin and clip. I've you've got a specific trailer you can measure to determine the correct rise/drop needed to keep the trailer level while towing; I've linked a helpful article on how to properly measure for that.
I've also linked some installation and review videos of the parts mentioned here for you to check out, as well.
