Replacement Grease Seal For Boat Trailer With Chicago Rawhide 11881 CR Seal.
Question:
I am trying to find a replacement axle spindle seal for my boat trailer. The original seal is a Chicago Rawhide 11881 CR, which is obsolete. The seal dimensions are 2inch O.D., 1-1/4inch I.D., 3/8Wide. Inside is a rubber O ring and a spring energized O ring. It mates to a Timken 1380 tapered roller bearing. Do you have any recommendations for a replacement seal? Many thanks

The Double Lip Grease Seal # 34823 is the closest seal that I can find to your measurements. It has an outside diameter of 1.983", inside diameter of 1.249 and is 1/4" thick.
I would verify that the seal will fit correctly on your hub with a Digital Caliper # PTW80157 prior to installation.
