Replacement 4 and 7-Way Trailer Connector for a 2000 Ford F-350

Question:

I have a broken 7 pin w 4 pin on my 2000 f350. I would like to install the HM48470 in my bumper to get it up out of the water and out of he way. Is there a wiring harness I can use without splicing wires? Obviously the hm48470 needs to be hard wired itself but I want to hook into either the ford rectangular harness connector or the backside of the existing broken 7 pin.

You can use the Hopkins 4/7-Way connector # HM48470. All you will need to do is attach the wires from the old connector in the same places on the back of this connector then mount it where you want it. No other wiring harnesses are needed.

The replacement 7-Ways we have for a 2000 Ford F-350 that also have the rectangular plug do not have a built-in 4-Way. We have # C55243 and # 118243. You could use one of these and then use an adapter, # HM47570.

If the truck came with the factory 7-Way then we show # C55774 as the correct harness replacement with a 4-Way and 7-Way. but it has a round connector.
