Expert Reply:
Draw-Tite Class III 2-Inch Hitch Receiver, Part # 75699, will fit a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It is compatible with versions both with and without the OEM tow hook. This hitch installs without drilling or welding using existing vehicle hardware. I have linked a video showing the installation process in a 2012 Grand Cherokee. Written installation instructions are also included.
Please note that this hitch does not include a ball mount, hitch pin or clip. A link provided will take you to our department page for ball mounts where you can select one with the appropriate rise or drop to match your tow vehicle and trailer heights (it is important that the trailer frame be level when hitched to your tow vehicle). Or you might prefer a cost-effective kit, such as the etrailer # 989900, which includes 2 ball mounts, 2 hitch balls, hitch pin and clip together in a handy carry bag, a great option for using multiple trailers. A video link for this kit and a helpful article on how to select a ball mount are included.
I included a link to trailer wiring also to enable you to select wiring to match your trailer.
Last, I have included a link to an article that covers the essentials for safe towing.
