Are There Any 5th Wheel Tailgates For 2002 Ford F-150 That Can Support A Load?

Information on website says tailgate isnt load bearing. Is there any that are?

None of the tailgates that fit your 2002 Ford F-150 are designed to hold any type of load. That said, I do think the Stromberg Carlson 4000 Series 5th Wheel Louvered Tailgate with Lock # VG-97-4000 is the best option since it has integrated locks to keep the tailgate locked in the closed position. This also comes with coated cables to secure the tailgate in the dropped position, whereas the Stromberg Carlson 100 Series 5th Wheel Tailgate with Open Design # VG-97-100 that you were looking at does not have locks or coated cables to secure it.
