Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # 75599 you were looking at is a great option for your 2004 Honda Pilot EX-L and will be perfect for towing your pop up camper as long as it does not exceed the ratings of your vehicle or hitch.
The # 75599 has a 350lb tongue weight rating and a 3500lb trailer weight rating and as long as your Pilot does not have more than 3 passengers it does as well. The towing capacity of your Pilot decreases with the amount of passengers and cargo added to your vehicle, so I recommend taking a look at the towing load capacity section of your owner's manual to make sure you do not overload the vehicle.
To tow your trailer you will also need a vehicle wiring harness # 118336, and a hitch ball, ball mount, and hitch pin and clip which can all be found in the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900.
I included installation videos for each of the products mentioned for you to take a look at.
