Furrion Cameras Not Working Properly From Running Light Circuit

Question:

I have a 2021 X5 with factory tow package 7way and 4 pin and a 2021 Jayco jauyfeather x213 travel trailer. When the trailer is hooked to the vehicle, the 7 way works fine for running light and turn signal etc, however the 3 cameras I have furrion brand that are tapped into the running lights from factory thats how they get power have an intermittent signal to the furrion LCD screen, on for 2-3 seconds, then off for 5 seconds, losing signal. When we use a jumper connector on the 7 way to the trailer to test the cameras work fine. Its like the x5 is not supplying proper power from running light pin, however they do not flicker LED at all so no one can figure this out? Have you ever heard of this problem, what can I do besides tap into a 12v supply separately for cameras? This should work like all other vehicles right?

It sounds like the running light pin is not providing enough power for the three cameras. You might need to introduce the 7-Way Vehicle Power Adapter w/ Power Switch for Furrion RV Observation Camera, part # FR87PR, into your electrical system. It is designed to connect the trailer wiring from your tow vehicle's 7-way trailer connector. It will provide your cameras extra power. This should eliminate the intermittent power issues you are having with your camera.
