Where to Connect the Red Brake Wire of a Tekonsha TK90160 on a 2019 Equinox

Question:

I have a 2019 chevy equinox. Im instructed to splice the red wire in to the pink/white wire and there is no pink/wire wire available. Certainly dont want to grab the wrong wire. Now Im stuck with my car all torn apart on a Sunday afternoon.

The 2019 Equinox should have a pink/white wire to connect the red wire to but may be covered in black electrical tape or hidden by other wires. The tape will need to be trimmed down a little on the 4th bundle of wires, going front to back, to expose the wires. I included the install video, and you can see the needed wire bundle, and wire needed, at the 11 minute 20 second mark. I included a picture of the wire as well, but it's pretty small.

If you still do not see one matching this, which would be unusual, you will need to use a tester, like the # PTW2993, to see which wire has power once and only when the brake pedal is depressed.
